If you were to shoot Frank Zappa with a horse tranquilizer and put him in a blender with Hiatus Kaiyote, The Barenaked Ladies, and three lemons, you would get Dov Beck-Levine, and probably arrested. The Toronto-born artist and his 4-7 piece band (rhythm, 1-3 horns) leads crowds in playful, high-energy sets that radiate pure joy. Absurdist concepts, witty lyricism, dazzling musicality, and danceable hooks converge, creating a unique sound that Dov affectionately calls “Feel-Good Fusion”.

In 2025, the now NYC-based artist is set to take a big step. A new soul-focused EP, Lights On Now, is set to drop on March 21, on the heels of the 2024 debut LP Eggs Don’t Ride Bikes, a joyous 15-track powerhouse four years in the making. Lights On Now‘s first single will be celebrated in style at Nublu in Manhattan (2/22), while the EP release itself will be accompanied by a more exclusive “Dov and Friends” show in Brooklyn, open to those in the know (3/22). Spring will see one more large Brooklyn show to launch the band into the summer festival season - including Canada’s NXNE and a second appearance at Hartford’s Hike To The Mic - with fall 2025 and winter 2026 focused on opening spots for larger touring artists, both on the road and in NYC.
